Saint Anthony was part of the new Franciscan Order. He was known for his amazing homilies and was friends with Saint Francis of Assisi. Anthony kept notes in a psalm book, which was stolen. After praying for its return, the book was returned, which is why people today still say the Saint Anthony prayer when they have lost something. He was such a good preacher, it was said that he once preached to fish and they gathered to listen to his word.
