Saint Agatha is one of the most highly venerate virgin martyrs of the Catholic church. She was a beautiful young lady who dedicated her life to Jesus. She was pursued by men but always spurned their advances. One of those men had her arrested during a time of great Christian persecution. She was tortured but remained strong through prayer and with the help of St. Peter the apostle through a vision, who helped heal her wounds.
